Jennifer Lawrence graced the red carpet at the Los Angeles debut of "Bread & Roses" on Thursday evening. The Academy Award-winning actress, a co-producer of the film, chose a black Christian Lacroix Haute Couture garment from the Fall 2006 line, gently holding her abdomen as she smiled for photographers.
Last month brought the announcement that Lawrence and her spouse, Cooke Maroney, are anticipating another child. The pair, wed in October 2019, are already parents to a toddler, son Cy. "Bread & Roses" is a documentary chronicling the experiences of Afghan women under Taliban control in Kabul, following three individuals as they strive to reclaim their autonomy and means of sustenance. Lawrence collaborated on production with Justine Ciarrocchi, Farhad Khosravi, and director Sahra Mani. Human rights advocate and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Malala Yousafzai served as the executive producer.
The actress appeared on the red carpet Thursday with Ciarrocchi, Mani, and Yousafzai. "Bread & Roses" premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year and will be available November 22nd on Apple TV+.
